This is the name of the company i started. If you dont know what Deus means then I will tell you. it is latin for God. Why "god" ink? Because the first words that created the universe was god. Or at least thats my logic behind it...
Anywho, your probably wondering what DeusINK is. It is a media company that does a variety of services from photography, writing publishing, etc. Currently I am working on getting the comic part of my company up and running. What im trying to do is establish myself as an independent comic book company alike marvel, and dc where there is a universe of characters that have different story arcs that can tie into each other but im NOT doing the "superhero" genre. I feel that superhero comic books are not what they used to be and its to hard trying to create a superhero because a hero is only as good as his villain and lets face it most villains suck...
wow I'm rambling...
Now what my company will do is keep the idea of a universe of characters but it will mostly be horror, detective, spiritual and science fiction driven stories. But what i want to do different than both marvel and dc is incorporate a network of independent artist and writers to create their own stories as well as collaborate...
Thats my goal in a nutshell obviously it is very challenging but i believe it could be something very big as more people join up....
